Towing with a 4WD or SUV may require a drop shank to position the tow ball at the correct height. Hayman Reese has a range of drop shanks to suit almost every vehicle. Engineered to the same exacting standards as our Weight Distribution kits, Hayman Reese drop shanks are the reliable choice for trouble free towing.
Different sized shanks are available to setup 4WD’s and applications where the lowest/highest setting, on your drop shank, leaves the tow ball sitting too high or too low.

Hayman Reese drop shanks are required when using medium duty (600lb) and heavy duty (800lb) Weight Distribution kits.
