The Safety Dave AHD Converter allows you to connect an AHD Safety Dave camera into a Standard Definition (STD DEF/NTSC) Monitor.
This product also allows you to connect AHD cameras into Non-Safety Dave displays, such as Integration Kits (Advanced ICE etc.), Aftermarket head units (Alpine, Kenwood) and Ford Ranger/Everest factory camera integration (MY24.5+).
How it Works:
The AHD Converter simply plugs in line with our 4-pin aviation connector to convert the signal from AHD to NTSC.
The convertor can be installed anywhere between the monitor and camera.
Why you need this product:
If you have an AHD camera on the caravan and a STD-Def screen in the car, this product will save you from rewiring the car and changing the screen to AHD
If you would like to wire the Safety Dave camera into an aftermarket head-unit with RCA input, and you have an AHD camera, this will save you from having to change the camera to STD-Def
Customers with MY24.5+ Ford Ranger/Everest can integrate their Safety Dave Camera into the Factory Infotainment Screen without changing the AHD camera to STD-DEF. This also applies to aftermarket integration such as Advanced ICE camera integration.
